David Grandouiller is a French-American writer and editor from Ohio. His lyric essay, “On Communion,” was a finalist for the 2019 Orison Anthology Award in Nonfiction, and a group of his essays won the 2019 Walter Rumsey Marvin Grant from the Ohioana Library Association. He holds an MFA in Creative Writing from The Ohio State University, and his work appears in The Rumpus, The Millions, Essay Daily, Cleaver Magazine, and elsewhere. Since the end of 2019, he has contributed editorial guidance to over two hundred book projects, working with author and press clients across the self-publishing, hybrid publishing, and small traditional publishing sectors of the industry.
